Hi I'm Eric

I grew up in Idaho. I love math and rock music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a progressive rock and metal enthusiast. In my spare time I play my electric and acoustic guitars and play some video games. I am studying mathematics, physics, and computer science at college and I want to become a math professor.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon, but I've stayed for my own reasons, not just because my parents said I should. I've had some dark and sad times in my life because of some bad choices I've made, but those experiences are the ones that caused me to turn to Christ, humbly seeking help. I know that we can have even the worst things we've done forgiven and we can move on with our lives with a new, heaven-facing outlook. I know that if we are worthy of it, we can have the Holy Ghost to inspire and guide us through our lives. I know the scriptures are the word of God and they can help us in everything we do today, even in the modern day, but we have to be serious about studying them. Ultimately, I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy! If I ever am feeling down, I try to remember that we are to live happily. When we turn our lives over to Christ, then everything will be OK in the long run.

How I live my faith

I have taught in a group of peers when I was about 18 years old and visited families monthly with a friend to help with their well-being and to share with them a message from our living prophet.
