Hi I'm Whitney

I was born and raised in a small town in Colorado. I love the outdoors and sports. But most importantly, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a small town country girl.I have four siblings (two sisters, two brothers) who all are married and have children. Family is a big part of my life. I love the outdoors and playing sports. In the summer i spend my time roping and in the mountains hunting, fishing, and fourwheeling. In the winter, I spend every weekend snowmobiling. Currently I am in my second year of college in pursuit of my bachelors degree in Accounting. I live eight hours away from home which is difficult at times, but I am loving being on my own and enjoying the college experience.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of God's love for me. I know that through Joseph Smith God restored his Gospel on this earth. He gave us the wonderful gift of knowledge that protects and guides us back to Him. Without the teachings of this Gospel, I know that we cannot return to our Heavenly Father. Each day as I strive to live the teachings of Christ I can feel God's love for me more and more. As I pray I can feel the peace this knowledge brings to me. I am so happy that I have the opportunity to spend all eternity with my family. That by being sealed in the temple for time and all eternity I can live forever with the most important people in my life: my family. This is the one and only true church on this earth. I know it. The Holy Ghost has born record to me of its truthfulness. And I know that if we pray with real intent we can know the truth of all things. I love this Gospel it brings me so.. much joy. I say these things with a humble and loving heart. In the name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day. Whether it is by smiling at a stranger, helping someone who needs it, or sharing the Gospel. Every day I attempt to do something Christ-like. Although I am far from being perfect I believe that by trying each and every day to live in such a way that would please my Heavenly Father I live my faith. I simple try to be e best I can be and help those around me as much as I can.
