Hi I'm Kyle Winterton

I'm a son, brother, movie lover, loud music listener, 4 wheeler rider, millitary brat, missionary, child of god, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Currently I am 20 years old. I come from a family much like any other family here in the U.S. My father is in the armed forces. Being in an air force family, we have moved around a lot which can be very hard on a us as individuals and also as a family. I love loud music, dancing, movies, 4 wheelers, getting a little dirty in the mud, and am not afraid of a little hard work.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Mormon church, my parents are also members. The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints is amazing and blesses and has blessed my family in so many ways. Growing up in a military family is rather hard and can be a real challenge sometimes, without faith and the teachings of modern day prophets here upon this earth today, and also without the wonderful parents that I was blessed with, and them teaching me about the life of Christ, and encouraging me to become more Christ like my self, I don't know where me or the rest of my siblings, for that matter, would be today. We became a strong and close-knit family, through following the teachings of our lord and Savoir Jesus Christ and through diligent study of the Book of Mormon and applying its teaching to our lives. I know and love the things that I have been taught and will continue to live them through out my time here upon this earth. I am exited for the day that I will be able to teach my kids and family the same values that I was taught through out my childhood, so that they can experience that same joy and happiness through out there life"s that I received through being a member of the lords church here upon this earth.

How I live my faith

I live and love my faith to the fullest of my capabilities. while were here upon this earth we will make mistakes and fall into temptation on occasion. our Heavenly Fathers plan is to be happy while we are here and to learn and grow. One of the ways that I have been able to fine the greatest happiness is to be in the service of others, as I was growing up my parents taught me how to work and to serve others that are in need. when you see someone that is having a hard time and just need s some help, it is just an amazing thing to go and fill that need. and to see how by filling that need that they had, how much happiness and gratitude will bring to those that you do help. to quote the animated movie robots "see a need, fill a need" and that's what I try to do to the best of my ability. "And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God". (Book of Mormon Mosiah 2:17)

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Kyle Winterton
No not all Mormons will serve missions, but the majority of us will. That is because we want to share our message of the true church being here on the earth. its kinda like you find a really good candy bar that no one else knows about, so what do you do? Do you keep it to your self or do you go and tell all you friends and family and every one you know that there is a great candy bar!! That's what we do, we have found something that we have found such joy and love for and we want to share it with the rest of the world, that's why i am currently giving up two years of my life to go and share some thing that I have found such joy and happiness in.
