Hi I'm Daniel Hixson

I was raised in the United States of America. I love helping others. I am an eternal optimist. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a large family of 6 kids and 2 parents, who I all love so much. I grew up in Utah, and moved to Missouri while I was going through school. I absolutely love playing the piano and singing. I love playing every kind of sport there is, but football, soccer, and basketball are some of my favorites. I love meeting new people, and I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (The Mormon Church) when I was 8 years old. I've grown up in the church my whole life, so attending was somewhat of a robotic decision. During a point in my life I started to make bad choices that were making my life terrible, and eventually I came to the realization that I needed help. I started to take going to church seriously, and I found the help I so desperately needed through the teachings of Jesus Christ. This church is the greatest tool to help us come to know our Savior Jesus Christ, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is something I do daily. Besides serving in local community projects, in my church I am a teacher for children ages 8 - 11 years old. With teaching children they learn from example instead of lecturing. So I make sure that I am a good example to them by serving others, and trying to help those that are in need.
