Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a comic book nerd, Godzilla movie fan, I'm going to school to be a paleontologist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently engaged and excited to begin a new journey when that time comes! I'm in school and slowly on my way to becoming a paleontologist, it's been my passion since I could pronounce it! I'm a general nerd of all trades where movies, video games and comics are concerned. I play a little Dungeons and Dragons now and then, hang out with my friends, and make the occasional movie. I've had my heart broken once or twice and I've been beaten down by some pretty hard classes, but life goes on right?

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and it honestly took me a while to decide for myself whether I wanted to stay in it or not. I had felt the feelings of the Spirit testifying of truths but didn't always know what I was feeling. I slowly grew a testimony over the years though, eventually I decided to go on a mission. While serving my mission in Cleveland, Ohio a woman once challenged me to check again with God to see if what I was trying to teach her was true, so I did! That night I prayed about the Book of Mormon for the first time in a while but felt the most beautiful warm and comforting feeling I'd ever had. I was able to serve near areas very important to the history of our church and I stood in rooms where some of the greatest men of this or any generation also stood. The spirit still lingering in those rooms testifies of the truth of this work, His restored Gospel, and that the heavens are open. He still speaks to us.

How I live my faith

I like to live my faith by trying to be a positive example to people everywhere I go, some days it's harder than others but I manage. I also like when I get to go home teaching, it allows me to get to know people in my neighborhood and congregation a little better than it would if I only saw them at church, and lets me get little chances at teaching lessons here and there.
