Hi I'm Audrey

I am a goofball. I love to sing in the shower. I am a future missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern Illinois, and moved to Utah at around 17. I love to play the guitar, sing, and just be crazy with my friends. I love meeting new people, and love starting new friendships. I have 2 years of college experience, one at BYU and one at UVU. I loved them both. I am now serving an LDS mission for 18 months to be a representative of Christ in Guatemala!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church, I was baptized at 8, but I never really recognized why I was a Mormon until about my senior year in high school. I always just did those things that I was asked because I didn´t want to get in trouble, I went to church because I was asked to. But in realizing what blessings from the gospel I have in my life, and seeing other people in my life who I loved dearly not have that knowledge of the Restoration, it broke my heart. It made me realize that I do have a testimony of this church. I have a firm testimony that there was a need for a restoration of the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth, and I know that it was through Joseph Smith that this was able to take place. I know with all my heart that everything that makes me happy, everything that keeps me going, everything that I live for is effected by my knowledge of the Gospel and by me being a part of this church. Without the knowledge of eternal families, or the fact, the absolute fact that I am a Daughter of God, and He loves me personally, I feel as if I would be lost in this world. I wouldn´t understand my own importance. But because of this Gospel I do know those things, I understand my importance, and I want to share that knowledge, the knowledge of God´s love and each of our own individual worth with everyone that I meet. I can not imagine my life without having this comfort, it is a comfort that changes your life.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith by being an example to those around me. I try and emulate what I believe in what I do and how I act. I know that by keeping my standards high, and having values that many people see as old-fashioned or out of date may set me apart from others. That is just fine with me because I know that I should be a light on a hill, proud of what I believe. I will be serving a mission soon, and in doing so I will be able to bring the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others, and testify of the goodness it will bring in their lives, as it has in my own. I have many wonderful examples in my life that have shown devotion and love for the Savior, not just one day a week, but that devotion is in their being and it shows each and every day of their lives.
