Hi I'm Richard

I love basketball, golf, ceramics, Disney, and Eminem. I can make anyone laugh. I'm a convert to the church..... and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Richard Baeza and I was born in raised in the Bay Area of California in a beautiful city called Pleasanton. I grew up playing a lot of sports, but my favorite one is basketball. I'm a huge Lakers Fan!!!! I also enjoy playing other sports, working, refereeing basketball, and hanging out with my family. I also enjoy ceramics, which is a lot of fun, especially since I'm better than it than Brandon. I attend Brigham Young University where I will be studying actuarial science (statistics pretty much). I am the middle child of 3, with an outstanding older sister, and a hilarious younger brother. My family and I have too much fun. They're the best for sure. I am currently serving a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Florida Orlando Mission. It's pretty much the best mission in the world. I am really just a happy guy! I love to laugh and joke around, and I think that's what makes me, me! I like to think that I make others laugh a lot too, but if not, just pretend like I do so I feel good about myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. Also, because my best friend and his family introduced us to the church, and slowly, but surely, we were baptized and became members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! It was a great journey, and definitely one I do not regret because of all of the blessings I have been able to partake of since I became a member. Knowing that we can all be saved through Jesus Christ and His atonement is such an amazing blessing, and it's what keeps me going everyday. I know I may make some mistakes here or there, but God loves us, and He wants us to live with him again. I try my best everything to be a better person, and I know that's what's going to help me to stay on the right road to live with our Heavenly Father again!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping others. Just like Jesus Christ served throughout his ministry here on earth, I have tried to serve the people in my community. I have either coached or refereed Special Olympics Basketball and/or Track for the last 8 years, and I love it. It's such an awesome feeling to be able to help out the people in my community. I also coach basketball through my city, which is a big love for mine. I hope to one day be able to coach basketball at a higher, competetitive level. I am also serving a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Florida, Orlando Mission!
