Hi I'm Keio Tupou

I'm a Tongan that was born and raised in New Zealand by my Mother. I have been called to serve in Australia Brisbane. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for a period of two years. I am the middle of five children and we were all raised by our loving a faithful Mother. I am currently engaged to my to the most amazing and talented woman in my eyes, and I love her eternally! I love to play sports and solcialise with others, and so I guess you could say I am a people's person, although I do like my personal space and time to get things that I need completed. I am of full Tongan decent and cannot speak a lick of Tongan, but I am proud of my roots and of where my family come from. I am very family orientated and will do whatever I can to help family and to see family happy and progress. I've learned from my mother the importance of sacrifice and service and have the same desire to do likewise to those within my reach. I am most happy when those around me, especially the ones I care for and love, are happy. I know this church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church of God here on the earth, and this knowledge came to me by a witness and confirmation of the Holy Ghost through my desire, faith, and effort to know of it's divinity for myself. I am far from perfect, but I know the gospel helps me take the right steps necessary to become more like Jesus Christ, who is perfect. God loves us and is our number one supporter to help us receive immortality and eternal life. this I know to be true, and hope you come to know too.

Why I am a Mormon

i was pretty much brought up as a mormon from the age of 3. and so before, being a mormon to me was just a part of life. but as anyone gets older, we begin to gain our own characteristics and also begin to make our own decisions for ourselves. I've always believed that there was a God, but did he have a specific church, or are all religions just the same? and so i had to take on what i had learnt from the church and put it to the test. i read the book of Mormon. i prayed. and i continued to listen to the testimonies of others. through this, i gained a testimony for myself, and a knowledge that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church here on earth. i am a Mormon because i know for sure that this is God's church once again established here on the earth. i know that the teachings and words of the Book of Mormon to be true, and that they did happen. because of this, i know that Joesph Smith was a prophet of the Lord, and was chosen to restore the Church of Jesus Christ back on the earth. i know that God continues to share his love for us by revealing his plan to our living prophet Thomas S. Monson. i have chosen to serve the lord as a full time missionary because the lord has commanded me to do so, and i love him. i know that there are people out there wanting to know truth, and to receive answers that they may have within their hearts and in their minds. i know that we are never, and will never be alone, because our Heavenly Father and Saviour Jesus Christ love us too much. i am a mormon. i know it. i live it. i love it!

How I live my faith

i live my faith through the way i act and behave. one thing that my bishop always counselled us to do was CPR. C-church. attend church every week, and partake of the sacrament to renew my baptismal covenants. P-pray. pray daily, make it the first thing i do to start my day, and the last thing before i go to sleep. R-read. read the scriptures daily so i can receive the guidance and direction that my Father in Heaven is trying to provide for me. i love my family and friends so much, but i try my best to put the lord first with the decisions that i make. i live my faith by trying to be like Jesus and serve those that are around me, especially my friends who are not of the gospel.
