Hi I'm Bridget

I am a mother, a wife and a new college student. I am addicted to reading and I love to sew. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of a blended family with 8 children, yours, mine and ours. I am currently living my dream of attending college. I have a long road ahead but I finally started and that is what matters most to me. I will read almost anything, I cannot remember a time in my life I did not love to read. Sewing and being crafty are my way of easing the stress and trials of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I know my Savior lives. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and goes hand in hand with the Bible. They are both very important books in my home to read and study continually. The love I feel from my God and Jesus Christ when I read the scriptures is overwhelming. Living this gospel gives me joy, peace and purpose that cannot be found any other way. The Holy Temple allows me to be with my husband and children forever, that is an irreplaceable gift. I have not always lived my life in accordance with the teachings of the church. I know what life is like without it, and I know what life is like with it. I would NEVER again go without Christ in my daily life and the joy and happiness I feel when I live in accordance with His gospel.

How I live my faith

I am very active in the adult women's organization of our church. I love the women there and the lessons taught and the support given freely. I have worked a lot with the children and teenagers as well and I love to see them grow as they learn more of our faith. I enjoy becoming involved in my children's schools and being a part of the community. I believe being an active participant in their education in extremely important. Education and knowledge are one of the greatest blessings we can gain here in this life.

What is the Relief Society?

The Relief Society is God's organization for women. It helps us to uplift and love one another unconditionally. We are able to strengthen each other and share testimony of our Savior. We buoy up the weak and serve those in need. It is a place to serve, to love and to obtain guidance. I love the Relief Society with all my heart and the women I have been blessed to know through it.
