Hi I'm Ruth Knox

I've spent most of my life in Texas, but was born in Oregon. I was home schooled until I started college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well here goes. Hi! I'm the youngest of five girls in my family. I have been going to college, majoring in voice, but am putting that on hold to serve a mission. I like to read and learn about just about anything. I have always wanted to travel the world and learn about the people that live such different lives than me. I love being outside (when it's not to hot...). Crisp mountian air in the morning is one of my favorite smells. Horses have always been a part of my life. I was riding horses before I could walk. I also enjoy cooking homemade meals for family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. Why am I a mormon? I have searched and found for myself the love of my Heavenly Father through his restored gospel. There have been times when I've doubted, but it has been through those trials that I have gain a stronger testamony of the truth of this church. I know that Heavenly Father wants all of his children to return home to live with him. Even so he wants us to return of our own free will with a personal conviction of his plan of happiness for each and every one of us! I was raised Mormon, but I chose to continue being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because of my relationship with my Savior.

How I live my faith

I'm a member a branch that is growing (hopefully soon to be a ward). I teach some of the children at church ages 3 - 4 (Sunbeams). Sometimes I feel like they're teaching me. I can feel the love our Savior has for his littles one through them, they are without a doubt, loved and cherished.
