Hi I'm Esmeralda Lujan

I am a daughter, a sister, a wife and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Mexico, but my parents brought me to the USA because I was born with a disability on my right leg. I was blessed to have gifted doctors that helped me walk with a prosthetic leg. Even though its been hard sometimes I know that it was part of Heavenly Father's plan for me. I am able to do just about anything from walking to hiking, running, rappelling, driving. Because I was able to walk I went to school, graduated college, served a full time proselyting mission and I am now happily married to a wonderful man.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have a strong testimony of the gospel. My family joined the church when I was nine years old. I have seen the changes in their lives and even though they are not perfect I know that without the gospel it wouldn't be the same. I know our Heavenly Father hears our prayers, that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and made it possible for us to return to our Father someday. I know that we are all precious sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father and he loves us very much. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and it was written to help us just like the Bible. I know we all go through trials but we are never alone if we have faith and pray for strength.

How I live my faith

I go to church, attend the temple regularly, read the scriptures and the ensign (a church magazine) to strengthen my testimony. I love to serve others by doing my best in my callings, I am currently the secretary of our ward's primary and I love being with the children.
