Hi I'm Drew

I have lived in Virginia all my life. I plan to become a biomechanical engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a college student interested in Human Biomechanics. I have an immunosupressive eye disease and my treatment has sparked my career passion. I have a deep appreciation of nature and enjoy nothing more than running through woods trails where I can let my mind roam and let my senses enjoy God's marvelous creations. I love music and my connections in and through it and create a new mixtape every two weeks it seems. I am the oldest of 6, with sisters galore and a bookend brother. They certainly make life interesting, but they've always been there to support me in my endeavors.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Church all of my life, but I have certainly had experiences that have allowed me to grasp the full weight of the gospel, its effect on my life, and not take my testimony for granted. I have a testimony of the atonement of Jesus Christ, and know that he lives. I know that God loves us, and have felt his redeeming love for myself and for others. I have seen the blessings that come from living the standards, as they stand apart from the consequences of other lifestyles. I have witnessed the joy that being together as a family brings, and know that the Priesthood has been restored to this earth to bind on Earth that which is necessary to be bound in heaven. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and will bring us closer to living Christ-like lives as we abide by the virtues found therein.

How I live my faith

Right now, I have been called to serve as a Full-time Missionary for the church. I feel most blessed to have this calling, and am so excited to be serving the people of the Boston area. I get the opportunity, as we all have, to bring others unto Christ, especially through the second witness of his ministry, the Book of Mormon. I love that book! Reading it habitually strengthens my testimony and fills my with the spirit. As I serve others I try to set an example - through my actions - that demonstrates my faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
