Hi I'm Sara

My name is Sara. I'm a leg wrestling champion, I don't sleep with a pillow and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Sara. I am 23 years old and I grew up in northern Utah. I now live about an hour south from where I grew up and here I will start Dental Hygiene school in the fall. I served a mission in the Mesa, Arizona Temple Visitor Center and I learned Spanish. I love to go country swing dancing, salsa dancing and I love any sport with a ball! I love to serve and be involved- this is what makes me happy! I went to Guatemala with a group of dentists doing dental humanitarian work, and loved it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my personal relationship with my Heavenly Father. Through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I have come to know Jesus Christ and God. In the Book of Mormon there is a prophet named Alma that is preaching to his people. I echo his words when he says, “… Do ye not suppose that I know of these things myself? Behold, I testify unto you that I DO know that these things whereof I have spoken are true. And how do ye suppose that I know of their surety? Behold, I say unto you they are made known unto me by the Holy Spirit of God. Behold, I have fasted and prayed many days that I might know these things of myself that they are true: for the Lord God hath made them manifest unto me by his Holy Spirit." This is why I am a mormon, because I have fasted and prayed and have gotten several personal confirmations on that it is true. There is no grater peace and comfort that I have found outside of this church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by searching of ways to serve and seek for guidance on how to do that. I pray to my Heavenly Father just once a day…the prayer starts when I wake up in the morning and ends when I go to bed. I have made it a habit to read the scriptures daily and to share what I have learned with others.
