Hi I'm Susan

I grew up in Fairfield, Alabama. I am a social worker and a mom of 6. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of 6 and currently working at home. I am a breast cancer survivor. I have a master's degree in social work and have worked with foster care and adoptions. I have a great husband who is a retired firefighter and now owns his own music store. I love to read and hope to publish my own book one day.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was growing up, I attended many churches. They were all wonderful. But then I read the testimony of Joseph Smith, and how, when he was a teenager, he wanted to find out which church was true. He asked God and was told that none of them were His true church. I had always had questions and only the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was able to answer them.

How I live my faith

I have served in different ways in the church, mostly with young women and the adult women. I enjoy spending time with them, helping them understand the gospel of Jesus Christ, and serving them by cooking meals, driving them places, or whatever they need.
