Hi I'm Cedric Huntington

I am a gymnast from Alaska. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Alaska and I did gymnastics all through high school and I love it. I enjoy helping people more than anything. I would consider myself charismatic and I enjoy helping others see the positive side of things. I am so excited right now because I am going on a mission to Portugal in December! I am so excited to serve the Lord and share his wonderful gospel with everyone I meet. I have dreamed of going on a mission since I was just a little kid. I was born into and LDS family and they taught me the gospel and how to live righteously and I am grateful for that. My family has recently been through many trials but I know that trials teach us patience and are for our own good.I am very grateful for my trials. One of my favorite things to do is go to the temple because of the spirit that i feel there when I get to do service :) It is a great place to take a girl on dates and that is what I like to do with my sweetheart. I have gone to BYU- Hawaii for a year now and it is such a blessed place. I have learned so much here and am looking forward to using my newly gained knowledge on my mission. I am currently a Exercise and Sport Sciences Major but I think I will switch to Finance and Accounting so I can learn to track my money.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and that was and still is a huge blessing in my life. My parents never forced me to be a member of this church but I have chosen to follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ with my own free will. This church is the true church on the living earth today, I know that with every ounce of my soul, mind, heart, and body. I have seen evidence of the truthfulness of the gospel and have felt the Holy Ghost as it has touched my heart to the point that I can not describe it in words. I am so grateful for our modern day prophet and apostles. I know that they are truly men of God and I bear witness that they are inspired just as the prophets of olden times were. Being a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has helped me get through many rough times and has brought joy, happiness, peace, and love into my heart. I am so grateful that I can know and understand things such as, Who I Am, Where I Came From, Why I Am Here, And Where I Am Going. I know these things because of the gospel doctrine that is taught in this church and through my own personal revelation I know that the doctrine that is taught in this church is true. I bear my testimony to all of those that read this that this is the True and Living church upon the Earth today and that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ all man kind may be saved. I promise that if you seek after things that are true and correct, you will be blessed to know, through the power of the Holy Ghost, that these are true. I love you very much and hope that you too can come to love this gospel as much as I do. I bear witness that this is the true church on the Earth today and do so in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. I attend church with a desire to learn and serve, I study and ponder the scriptures, including the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and many other great books, I say prayers to my Heavenly Father and try to keep a prayer continuously in my heart., I do service and help others with their needs, I attend the temple regularly and I invite others to join me in these activities. I also attend wholesome recreational activities with friends and even with people who I do not know. I enjoy meeting others and extending a heart full of love to those that I meet :) I have participated in The Boy Scouts of America and am an Eagle Scout and Bronze Palm. Scouting has been a good way for me to live my faith because it teaches me good moral standards and how to be creative and do service for others. I know that I can live my faith to my potential by sharing my beliefs with others and setting an example to the world. AND I AM ON A MISSION!!! :D
