Hi I'm Tyler Huffaker

I grew up in Bountiful, Utah. Hablo espanol (almost). Shaq retweeted me. I ain't no holla back girl, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from high school, and now I'm out serving the Lord as a missionary in Knoxville, Tennessee. I love sports. I used to be pretty athletic, but now I spend most of my time on crutches and getting surgery. I was famous for about 6 months in 2012.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because being Mormon is way cooler than being anything else, like really though, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is truely Christ's church, and is the only church in the world that has the fulness of Christ's gospel in it. Being Mormon is probably even the coolest thing about me. I was born into an LDS family, but that isn't why I am a Mormon. I gained by own testimony through my own studying and prayer. After reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it, there is no possible way for me to deny it's divinity and truth. It truely is another book of holy scripture as is the Bible. But when the Bible and the Book of Mormon are used together, there is no more powerful tool that we have for learning about Jesus Christ and his teachings. The Book of Mormon has answered so many questions in my life, and it has helped me gain a sure testimony that Christ truely is my Savior, Lord and Redeemer. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints has made my life so much greater than it ever could be if I wasnt a member and didn't follow it's teachings. I invite anyone and everyone to just simply read the Book of Mormon and pray about it, asking if it is true, and I know from self experience that you will receive an answer from God, saying that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by spending two years in Tennessee, knocking on millions of strangers doors trying to talk to them about Jesus, and how he has called a modern day prophet to the earth once again. But really, I am serving a mission in Knoxville Tennessee, because I know about this amazing gift that not many people know about.. It is the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. This church and it's teachings have blessed me so greatly in my life, that I want to go out and share it with everyone. Being on a mission lets me do exactly that. All we as missionaries do, is preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in it's fullness. Many people have bits of truth, but not everyone has the complete and perfect church. Through revelation and modern day prophet and apostles, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints is truly Jesus Christ's same exact church that he set up while he was on the Earth. Sharing that message is how I live my faith every day.
