Hi I'm Gabe

I am from Pittsburgh. I am a husband and father. I am going to school to earn a Master of Science in Accounting.

About Me

My wife and I are originally from Pittsburgh. For the past five years, we lived in Utah to complete our undergraduate studies. During our time in Utah, we became parents to our wonderful boy – he is our first and only child. Prior to my time in Utah, I served a full-time mission in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission. I primarily served in the cities of Reno, NV and Las Vegas, NV. I am currently attending a local graduate school to earn a Master of Science in Accounting. Being a full-time parent, a spouse and a student has plenty of challenges. However, we work through those challenges as best we can. And no doubt, we are happy. Our most meaningful activities are when the three of us are with each other. Whether it is playing at a park with our boy, going out for lunch as a family, or going to grandma and granddaddy’s house – we are the happiest when we are with each other, no matter what the activity is.

Why I am a Mormon

There is no one reason why. It is a culmination of many personal experiences that confirm my belief of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Every day, through scripture study and prayer, I am constantly reminded of the love our Savior has not only for me, but for all of Heavenly Father’s children. We have been blessed so much, that to say this gospel and Jesus Christ are not true would be wrong.

How I live my faith

I regularly attend my church meetings with my family every Sunday. Recently, I was asked to be a Sunday School Teacher for the youth in our church. It is a humbling experience because I have come to learn how knowledgeable the youth are in the church. Most importantly, they live very well the lessons they learn in school and in their personal study of the gospel. In my family, we try our best to have personal and family prayer and scripture every day. The more consistent we are, the more blessings we see in our life as a result of implementing that habit in our life.
