Hi I'm Todd

I love tinkering in a shop. I am on a mission in Kiev, Ukraine. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I was born in the church and could probably say that i was not sure if it was true at first but when my oldest brother passed away when i was going into fifth grade it solidified all the teaching and made me really turn to the lord along with gaining knowledge one step at a time and being tested and tryed in it. i had been taught from a very young age that their was life after death and that we have a plan and purpose while we are here on earth. Having a testimony of this has guided my life ever since weather it was in school when Friend's were making poor choices, or when i was done with school and working in the real world. I love snowmobiling, dirt biking, diesel trucks, and tractors pretty much any thing with a motor or explosion of some sort I'm their ready to participate. I also grew up in a home where my father owned a small excavation company so from a very young age i went to work and learned to appreciate hard work, service, and integrity which has affected and blessed my life ever since!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know with all my soul that it is the one and true church on the earth and that The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints has the fullness of the Gospel in it. we have a modern day prophet that leads and guides us today. God is the same today, yesterday and forever. he loves us and knows us individually he speaks to us today through the prophet and personal revelation. he sent his son to atone for the sins of the world so that we can return and live with him. It is through the atonement of Jesus Christ that i have true happiness and peace in life because I/we all try our hardest to do good and overcome our weakness' and shortcomings but we fall short. another thing that I've noticed in my life is that by keeping the commandments the we are happy no matter what position we are in in life or how much money we have. I've been in parts of the world were the commandments were kept better and i can tell you that the people their are way happier and upbeat about life then in other places. i encourage all to learn and live the commandments so you can know for yourself if this is true, but I know for myself that it is and that I'm happy no matter what situation i am put in because of my knowledge of Gods plan for us and by living the way he invites all of us to live.

How I live my faith

I am currently on a mission in Ukraine living, learning, and teaching others about our faith. I can say that it gets difficult at times but that is when I can reliy on Christ and my roots. I've learned that it doesn't matter what anyone around us thinks or does we can always look up to God and he will tell us how we are doing. I also know that unless we have enough faith to live what we know and teach that it doesn't do us or anyone any good. It is only when we live our religion that God will bless us in our lives. I have seen miracles here in my life and in the lives of others through this. Even before my mission I lived as best i could what is taught and i know that God has blessed me so much because of it. I know that it comes down to every thought and dead every day that leads up to being a great person. This is why i feel its so important to live what we know to be true!

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Todd
Mormon women are the greatest women on earth. they are faithful, virtuous, and every other great thing you can think of! Mormons that live their religion (we aren't perfect) know that men and women have equally important roles in Gods plan for us here on earth and know that they need to work in a 50/50 companionship in marriage and every other role we have in and out of the church. What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Todd
The Atonement of Jesus Christ is the act that allows all of us, Gods children to live again with him. How? Through living our religion or the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice his life because he was chosen in the pre-earth life or simply in Gods plan to do so after Adom and Eve ate the "forbidden fruit" in the Garden of Eden to get life started. This makes him an advocate for us before the father so to speak, because Christ paid the price for us and we lived the best we could by living our religion Christ can stand by our side and say to God they've done their best, I've done my part can we please return to thee...
