Hi I'm Kevin Gibson

I grew up in Santa Clara, Utah. I'm sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of Macedonia as a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy rock climbing, free-running, sprinting, swimming, driving, singing, and playing the guitar and piano. I attended college for a year before I became a missionary and I will resume studies after this wonderful mission experience. I have served as a missionary in the countries of Serbia, Bosnia, and now Macedonia. It is and has been the best time of my life! There's nothing quite like watching the gospel change someone's life. And the feeling one experiences during a baptism is amazing!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have seen that TRUE happiness comes from living the Gospel and following the commandments of God. I have been on both sides; following God's commandments and living life the way I wanted to live it. I have seen from personal experience and heartache that abiding by the commandments of God brings us the most happiness possible in this life. Also, I have read the Book of Mormon many times and I KNOW that it is true and the word of God. I have come to understand the purpose of life more clearly and what God has in store for us. I know that all who choose to read it will get closer to God by abiding by it's precepts than by any other book.

How I live my faith

Before my mission I was a Primary teacher. I taught children from the age of 8 to the age of 11. It was the best calling I have ever had in the church. When I was in High School, I was in a service/leadership club. We raised $20,000 for an orphanage in La Mission, Mexico. We also spent a week down there helping out. We dug holes for outhouses, dug the foundation for a new nursery for little children, placed sheet-rock in a church, fixed the roofs of houses, and donated refrigerators and ovens to the locals.
