Hi I'm Taylor

I love my WIFE (She's a Hottie), my family, basketball, entrepreneurship, serving others and giving back, and I am a MORMON!

About Me

I was born in the church. I was taught from a young age to trust in Christ, to believe in God, to pray, etc. and it has blessed me throughout my life. My parents did an excellent job of teaching me to figure things out for myself and this lead to me searching and knowing for myself that God is my Heavenly Father, and that his son Jesus Christ is my Savior. My faith led me to serve an LDS mission, where I served people of Ukraine for two years. It was AWESOME! I have MAD love for my brothers and sisters out there, and I love the Russian and Ukrainian language. Experiencing and embracing the Ukrainian culture has taught me some of the most powerful lessons I have ever learned. Spending 2 years just thinking and focusing on how I could serve and improve the lives of these people taught me way more that I ever taught them. I love them with all my heart. These two years really had a powerful impact on me. After two years I returned home and headed to Logan, Utah to attend Utah State University. I soon after married my wife, Bergen, on March 13, 2014. I hated my job and school and so I started looking for more. I realized the thing that would make me most happy, career wise, would be entrepreneurship. My wife and I wanted to build a Company that stood for more than just good products, and thus Tay Perk was born. We are happily running Tay Perk, and are overwhelmed at the goodness and love in the world. It is pretty awesome. We are just trying to do what little good we can.

Why I am a Mormon

Because its true. I asked God, my heavenly father, and i received my answer which no man could ever take away. I KNOW its true, its just that simple. And now its up to me, live it, or don't. But i have that basis knowledge... and i choose to live it. i choose to act! Thats what i love about this gospel. God wants us all to recieve this knowledge for ourselves!! So ask him, either its true, or its not. If its true... act! If its not true... well stay away! haha its that easy

How I live my faith

I just live like i know i should. I believe that "you get out exactly what you put it" so i try to live by that standard! James in the Bible states that "faith without works is dead" and that is the truth. If you have faith, you are going to have works and my faith is ALIVE.. so i gotta show my works! So i just go out and look for opportunities to serve. Its not always big things, but its just trying to lift the world and everyone up one person at a time! I know that Christ died for me, and that he suffered for my sins. I am grateful that I am saved by his Grace, and know that truly "I can do all things through Christ which stregntheneth me" Philippians 4:13. I know though that it isn't just enough to have Christ suffer and die for me, but I need to act and accept him into my life. That is what I strive to do everyday. To live the life Christ would want me to. To be the example that Christ would want me to be. Another way I live my faith is I always try to keep a Eternal Perspective and remember what my purpose is here on this earth. This just helps me to make sure I pay attention to the things that are most important (family, friends, serving others, etc) and not getting stressed over things that don't matter! This really helps me to always be happy and have a positive attitude which is good..
