Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up in Utah. I love airplanes. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have spent nearly all my life living in Utah. I finally left to attend school in Colorado Springs, Colorado for a year, and now I live in Ukraine. I have a large family, both immediate and extended, and I love getting together for our Family Reunions. I have played and enjoyed the piano for 11 years now, I love to read (everything), I love anything Remote Control, and I have a fascination with Airplanes. I love going to school, and I have a lot of favorite subjects. My most favorite subjects are: Math, Engineering, Biology, and Physics. I have wanted to be a pilot all my life, and recently I have become interested in the field of Prostheses. I don't know where I am going to end up, but either option, in my opinion, is a great goal.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first and foremost because I did what everyone eventually has to do if they really want to find truth. I prayed and asked God to tell me what was true. I read The Book of Mormon when I was 16 from cover to cover and then I followed the promise contained in the the last couple of pages of the book. I received my answer slowly. It was weeks and weeks before I began to notice the small things everyday, the little miracles, that the Lord was sending me for my answer. When I realized that my priority list had a huge re-arrangement. Suddenly all of the problems that seemed to be so big and scary at the time, seemed to be less important. I no longer saw the problems in front of me, but the goal beyond. Everyday is a battle to see past the obstacles, but that is why we have the Holy Scriptures. They are our guides, our scripts per-say. They teach us everything that we really need to know in this life, and they help us to deal with everyday problems using methods that have been proven throughout the centuries. I know that Christ lives and that he fulfilled the role given to him by our Heavenly Father. They have provided the scriptures, the prophets, the teachings of Christ, and everything else to help us return back to our Heavenly Home. That is my goal, and my joy. It makes life have a bigger meaning that helps me to keep my mole-hills from turning into mountains.

How I live my faith

Over my life I have become more and more acquainted with one thing. I love to help other people. When I was younger my parents taught me to serve others, not only when are asking for help, but when I see a way to help as well. As I grew I would go with my parents and other LDS members to different community and church events that were all engineered to help the Youth and others in my community who wanted help. Not long ago a friend helped me become acquainted with FamilySearch.org. Since then I have helped to take digital photos (of different history records) and turn them into text files to be used by others to try and connect The World Family Tree. Right now I live in Ukraine and my greatest joy is making new friends and then helping them in any way that I can, materially, physically, and most especially spiritually. I love it. It is one the the best things in the world to help anyone to smile and have a better day, everyday.
