Hi I'm Nicholas

I'm a violinist, a bagpiper, and brother in a family of nine kids. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a missionary in the Kyiv Ukraine Mission, speaking Russian! I love serving around friends that I knew before the mission as well making new friends and growing together. I'm the second child in a family of nine and love all of my five brothers and three sisters. I've played the violin since I was 11 and started the bagpipes at age 17. I love learning about science and how the world works. And I'm a BYU Cougar fan!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I have a wonderful family, and within my family I've learned the greatest lessons. I have seen firsthand how the teachings of Jesus Christ bless my family. Not only are we happy together, but I know that our happiness can last forever. I know this is true because I've felt the Spirit testify to me of the reality of this. I know this is true because in the restored Church of Jesus Christ is the very real authority and power of the Priesthood. The Book of Mormon is evidence of the truth and validity of these blessings, and by reading this book of scripture, my faith in Jesus Christ grows. I love the Book of Mormon and the Bible, which teach me about my Savior so I can become like Him. The Church is led by a living prophet, and because I have followed the counsel we recieve from him, I've never had second doubts about the course I'm taking in my life. I know what I'm doing is pleasing to my Heavenly Father, and I love Him.

How I live my faith

As a missionary, all day of every day is spent in the service of my Heavenly Father. I visit the amazing members of Ukraine who are great examples to me, helping them live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I teach those who are searching for the truth by teaching simple truths that are precious to me. I seek any opportunity to serve and give all my talents and energy to helping others feel the love of Heavenly Father as I feel it. I've recieved several assignments on my mission, including training new missionaries and serving in leadership positions. All of these assignments have been opportunities for me to learn for myself that our Heavenly Father helps those whom He calls. I study my scriptures every day, and it's because of this that I am able to learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, live it and see its blessings, and then invite others to do the same.
