Hi I'm Daniel Roylance

I'm a husband, a mechanical engineering student, a sports fan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I got married to the love of my life about eight months ago. It has been a great journey thus far and I cannot wait to see what my wife and I have in store for us in the future. My wife and I love being creative and designing different things. Usually, she comes up with the ideas and designs and then I help her put it all together. It really brings us together as a couple. I love sports! I am a huge football, baseball and basketball fan and those keep me busy throughout the year. If I am looking at my phone, chances are that I am either texting my wife...or looking at the latest update from the game. I am a Mechanical Engineering student at BYU and will be finishing up pretty soon, after which I can hopefully find a job where I can make a difference.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a home where the Gospel of Jesus Christ was taught. From an early age I knew who Christ was and felt his influence in my life. I learned that it is through him that I can truly change who I am. Even though I did not have to look outside my home for the Church, on my own, I searched the scriptures, pondered them in my heart and prayed to know if they were true. I know through my own personal experiences and answers that there is a God and that Jesus Christ is his son. I am a Mormon because I know that the true Church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth through a prophet, Joseph Smith. It is a great comfort to me to know that God still speaks to us today, not only answering our personal prayers, but by giving us Apostles and Prophets that reveal His will to all mankind.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving. I have had the opportunity to serve as a teacher for the six year olds in my congregation. It is so much fun and so rewarding to not only teach these children, but also to be taught by them. The chance to learn with them about Jesus Christ and his teachings is one that I cherish. I also strive to serve in whatever capacity I can. I have found that by simply being kind to everyone around me I can make a big impact on the world.
