Hi I'm John Hart

I'm a music lover, an avid attempter of everything active, a witness of miracles, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey, my name is John, and I love life. I enjoy all kinds of sports, but my favorite would be either ultimate Frisbee or gymnastics (I used to compete when I was growing up). I love the outdoors and doing anything active, and I like to learn new things. I am all about trying things, whether it be a new sport, instrument, or language, I really enjoy trying things. I served a mission in Rancagua, Chile where I learned Spanish. I find languages to be fascinating, and I plan on learning a few more. I grew up in a great family. I am the third of 6 kids, and I am the only boy. I absolutely love music. I love to sing, and play the piano and guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. The happiest times of my life have been because of this gospel, and because I am a member of this church. The peace that is found when reading the Book of Mormon, and through attending church and the temple cannot be found to the same degree elsewhere. I have had many experiences through prayer and scripture study, and living the commandments in which I have felt extremely strong the love and approval of God. For me it is important to have God's approval, because God loves all mankind, but He doesn't approve the actions of all mankind. That is why we always need to be searching out His will for us. I know that if I am doing His will, He will bless my life, and the lives of others. And we can figure out His will through diligent reading of the scriptures, accompanied by fervent prayer, and complete obedience of the commandments.

How I live my faith

I personally live my faith by trying to be more like Christ. I know that I am not perfect, and there are good days, bad days, and other days in between, but as long as I am constantly repenting and trying to become a better person, I know that the Lord is pleased with me. I do my best to read my scriptures daily (though I will sometimes miss), and I go to church every sunday. But the main way that I try to live my faith is by being happy. The gospel is all about making us happy. So what better way to live life than happily because of the gospel? I currently serve in my ward as a ward online missionary, and I am trying to help spread the light of the gospel more through the use of the internet.
