Hi I'm Kelby

I'm a music lover, a choir enthusiast. I love playing my guitar. I love nutrition and fitness. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a senior at Utah State University, majoring in Finance and Economics. I love music. I play the guitar, and I love singing. I love watching and playing sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church fills me with an overwhelming sense of hope through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The Atonement provides a great deal of strength in helping me overcome my personal weaknesses as I seek for the joys, blessings and happiness that this life should be. The Gospel of Jesus Christ also fills peace as I try to weather the storms of life. I believe that everything will turn out just fine when I am on Christ's side. The church also gives me a great way to serve others. I have a deep love of the Book of Mormon and the power which it carries. This church provides the opportunity to be all that I can and should be, and I absolutely love it.

How I live my faith

I sing in the choirs at the local Institute, and I have served as a vice president of the Institute Choir. As a member of the choir, we sing in the valley, as well as throughout the area. Together we share our testimonies through song to those who attend. I love participating in family history work, and I am currently working on my family history.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

One of the greatest blessings for me through the Holy Ghost is comfort. There have been many times, especially in the last few years, that I have had a feeling of being swamped by life. It is always a great blessing to have those moments of reassurance that I can make it through any of the troubles that life throws my direction. Show more Show less
