Hi I'm Ephraim

I'm a student full time and a backend web developer every other time.

About Me

I'm a student at Brigham Young University studying computer engineering. I recently returned home from serving a mission in the North Easter United States. When not at school, I work as a .NET developer and an indie iOS developer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon now for a different reason than I was a Mormon originally. I was born to parents who were members of this church, but having spent several years living among those not of my faith, I've seen the contrast in the purpose and happiness in the lives of members of the church. Recognizing that God is there, despite what the secular media may say, and that we will be held accountable for our actions, strengthens a person's desires to do the right thing, even though it may be a far harder thing. I want to be a part of that.

How I live my faith

Living my faith means working to become the most capable person I can be. I know that by gaining knowledge and skills in my chosen profession, I can provide for myself and be better able to help those in need. Living my faith means waking up early, studying the scriptures, and participating in service project with the Church's young single adult congregations. Living my faith means recognizing that I have a limited amount of time here on earth and I need to make the most of it, because my time here is only a small portion of what came before this life and what will come after.
