Hi I'm Manu Mulitalo

I'm an athlete, I love music, I love to serve others, especially my family. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play sports, especially American Football. I also love to know others and to get to know who they are and what they like to do. I love to hear laughter of joy and I love to see people smiling. I love to sing and hear others sing also. I feel that music is one of the greatest ways to help heal the soul here on earth. Music is something very important to me. It is a way I can express feelings that regular words and sentences cannot explain. Most of all I love my family. I can't see my life without them. They do everything for me and have set an example for me to follow. I am grateful for them and all that they do for me. I was able to do four semesters at Brigham Young University before I left on my mission. I love to go to Temple Square every Sunday. I love the Bible and I love the Book of Mormon. I feel the spirit when reading and studying from both.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church. In my younger years I really didn't think much of it. Once I understood the teachings and what each one meant I started to gain a testimony about His gospel. I had my doubts, but after finding out for myself that this is the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ I could not deny or reject any of the teachings of the Book Of Mormon. I was so blessed to be born into the one and only true church. This gospel has saved me many times. I have fallen away, but no matter what the church will always be there with open arms. Thats what I love about the church of Jesus Christ, its like a second chance. And its so comforting to know that the Lord will always be there and forgive us if we are willing to change and keep His commandments. It gives me so much hope and joy to know this and to have this in my life.

How I live my faith

I am currently a full time missionary for The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am one of the few who are able to serve the Lord and I am grateful for the opportunity I have to show my love for the Lord. I am preaching His restored gospel to the world so that my brothers and sisters here on the earth can have the same happiness I have. The Lord has blessed me with so much that I cannot keep it inside.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Manu Mulitalo
We do not worship anyone, but God the Father and Jesus Christ. They have made this earth for us to be happy and to become the best person we possibly can. Joseph Smith was a great man and prophet of God. He was chosen by God to lead the people and to restore the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We honor Joseph Smith for what he did and all that he sacrificed, but we do not worship him. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Manu Mulitalo
God is the source of all knowledge. We as humans are imperfect and have many faults. So we must rely on God and His knowledge and guidance. We are able to receive answers to our questions is through asking God through sincere prayer. In the Bible it explains in James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." Also in Matthew 7:7-8 if says we shall receive when we ask. I have a testimony of this because I have experienced it myself. I know because God answered my prayers, and so I know that God will answer all of our prayers. Especially when we want to know the truthfulness of His words. Show more Show less

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Manu Mulitalo
We are able to increase our faith by following and acting on the commandments of God, Jesus Christ, prophets, etc. When we obey and follow Christ, we are able to recognize and feel more of His love work in our lives and we are able to feel His presence and that He lives. Show more Show less
