Hi I'm Mark

I was born in to the covenant, served a mission in Taiwan 1992 and been an active member all my life, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I work for a Taiwanese based company called Nan Ya Plastics as a Senior member of management in the Production Planning department and get to speak Chinese every day which I learned serving on my mission in Taiwan from 1992 ~ 1994. I love my career even with its daily challenges. I thank the Lord each day for all the things he has bestowed upon me and my family; especially for my sound job which can support my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to remain a faithful member of the Mormon church, because I have searched deep in my soul and found the true purpose of life. Our Father in Heaven has provided a plan of Salvation where all that believe in Jesus Christ our Savior, repent and be baptized, and endure life’s challenges faithfully can return to live with Him again. An eternally life where earthly bonds of love for family and friends does not end at death. I invite all my brothers and sisters in the world to come unto Christ and enjoy the only true everlasting happiness that money cannot buy.

How I live my faith

I am an active member and attend church regularly with my family. Right now I serve as the Gospel doctrine teacher. My calling is to read and prepare lessons from the scriptures and facilitate a spiritual message each week filled with learning experiences and how one can relate the ancient writings to our daily activities and life’s challenges. I love reading and studying the scriptures. Some of my favorite scriptures are the ones that provide simple formulas we can apply to life choices that bless us with eternal happiness. One scriptures that I keep in my heart as a constant reminder comes from one of the Book of Mormon prophets King Benjamin addressing his people, "I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness."
