Hi I'm Tyrell Stephens

I was raised in Utah. I raise livestock. I rope, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I come from a farm town. I was raised on a small farm. I raise miniature bucking bulls, and show pigs. I love to team rope, and train horses. I am in an Agriculture Education major. I want to be a highschool Ag. teacher, and raise rough stock for rodeos. I have been involved alot in the FFA program in highschool, and college.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because, this gospel has brought so much joy into my life. I know That god answers prayers, and talks to prophets. I know this because, I have followed the counsel of the prophets and recieved answers to my prayers. My first year of college, I stopped going to church not for any reason. I just got lazy and stopped going. When I came back to the church, I finally found the joy I had been missing for that year. Everytime I read the book of mormon, just a couple verses a day. My day was so much better. I had a better out look on the day. I could tell the difference from the days I would read and the days I wouldn't. Just because of the out look I had towards other people, classes, and the day in general. I have seen the blessings from tithing, and have had many great blessings come to me just by living the gospel.

How I live my faith

Currently I am on a mission for the LDS church. I am a native english speaker. I am speaking spanish on my mission. I live my faith by, leading by example. I help bring the gospel into other peoples homes, teaching them about the gospel.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Tyrell Stephens
We are only asked to give 10% of our income. I have recieved many blessings from tithing. I looked for a job a whole year at school. I paid my tithing on my other income I was earning, and got a job a couple months later. Paying tithing is a way to show faith, and just one other thing god can bless us for if we live it. Jesus gave his life so we can live for eternity with our families, and return to god. Show more Show less
