Hi I'm Andrew Walton

I grew up in South Orange County and I go to BYU. I love basketball and joking around with friends, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I lived the first 18 years of my life in Southern Orange County, living about a mile from the beach. The perfect day is a summer day about 85 degrees, wake up late, play some basketball, then head down to the beach to cool off and hangout at the beach with my friends, then go home and have dinner with my family and spend some time with them, before going out with my friends at night. I have always loved sports, and I have loved just about every sport that I have ever tried watching or playing. After high school, I moved to Provo, Utah to attend BYU. I had great first year there and can't wait to go back. Right now I am currently serving a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am serving in Nicaragua speaking spanish, and i will be here until July of 2014.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that has strong beliefs in this church. Like most people, there comes a time where you have to decide if you want to follow in their footsteps and decide if YOU belive it is true. For me, it was not a one time thing where I simply found an answer and knew. True conversion is a process, but I have had many faith building experiences in my life. These have lead me to have a strong testimony of this church and this gospel. Only you can decide what you believe, but others can definitely help you a lot, and I have had a lot of help and good influences in my life to help me become who I am today, a missionary for the Lord Jesus Christ, teaching his gospel to people in foreign country. I am proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

They way I try to live my faith is to be the best example that I can be. I think that you can learn a lot more about someones true beliefs from their actions than what they say. I try to be someone that my Heavenly Father would be proud to call his son, just as I try to be someone that my own dad would be proud to call his son.
