Hi I'm Chase Grimmer

I attend BYU Provo. I'm currently serving a mission in Fukuoka, Japan. I love playing baseball and people watching. And I:m Mormon

About Me

I:m number 4 of an all boys family. I was born in Southern California but I now live in Virginia. I like to play baseball and tennis, practice karate/ having flip sessions, and just endlessly quoting movies with my brothers. I love a good leather-bound book and my dog Baxter. One day, I want to become a dentist just like my old man. I am currently serving in the Fukuoka, Japan mission and am loving every moment! I was attending BYU Provo before the mission and intend to continue my education upon my return. My friends are also just better than your friends. haha I say that as a joke, but it's basically true. :) I love my family, especially my way awesome Ma and Pa. Not sure how I would have made it to this point in life without them. Their faith helps me grow so much and I absolutely love them for it. My mission is the best ever, and everyone I meet out here is always changing me for the better. I love this work because it is His work. And I cannot wait to return from my mission so that I will be able to continue with His work back home as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS religion, just the same as all of my other brothers. But I never really gained my own true testimony of the Curch, for myself, until I was about 16. I knew that the teachings I had heard all my life were all really good things, but I wanted to know whether they were true or not. So I did like Joseph Smith had done, and I prayed to know if it was true. I can now boldly testify that through the Holy Ghost, I was able to receive a personal confirmation that I truly am a child of God, and that Jesus Christ IS my Savior and Redeemer. I love this gospel. I would not be able to function without the amazing power of His Atonement. And I am so very glad to be a personal witness and proud representative of His true Church. I want to convey this message and happiness and joy to everyone that I possibly can because I have seen how this awesome gospel has been able to change lives for the better. I love this church, and I know it will bless the lives of all those whose who are willing to receive Him into their lives. Love you guys!

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith everyday with an eternal perspective on things. Just thinking back to the things that really have true, meaningful importance in my life help me see what I need to be doing to draw closer unto Christ. Some people tend to forget as a member and a missionary that we too need to continuously strive to be the best we can, ''endure it well'', and also work towards being as perfect as Christ was. And I know that through helping others realize how much their Father in Heaven loves them, and how much this Gospel can bless their lives, I:m able to come closer unto Christ as well.
