Hi I'm Carrolyn

I'm a people person. I'm a friend. I love learning new things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a person who loves to find happiness wherever I go. Growing up, I lived in seven different towns in five different states. Moving around taught me that you can find amazing people wherever you live. I love meeting new people, learning about their lives, and discovering how every person has something they can teach you. I also love learning! As a recent college graduate, I feel grateful for the opportunity I had to learn from so many amazing professors and classmates. I am now excited to continue to learn about life as I work, travel, and continue to meet new people. In my spare time, I enjoy running, playing games, dropping in on friends, and going to plays and musicals.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member because I believe in God and Jesus Christ, and this gospel helps me to develop a personal relationship with them. This church teaches me that we are all children of God and that God loves each of us individually and perfectly. When I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I learn about the mercy, love, and care that God and Christ have for each of us. I can feel their love in my life when I pray for guidance and strength. I also can feel their love when I find answers to important questions as I read the scriptures. When I go to church on Sunday, I also feel God's love for me when I participate in the church meetings. I am so grateful for this church and how it helps me to draw closer to God and Jesus Christ. I could not imagine life without the gospel of Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

Every morning, I like to start off my day by praying and reading my scriptures. I have found that I feel happier, more peaceful, and more kind when I start off my day by remembering God and Jesus Christ. During the week, I also find joy as I try to give service to my friends, family, or people in my community. I love how service helps you to get outside of yourself, make friends, and recognize your blessings. In my local congregation of the church, I also have the opportunity to organize community service activities and to oversee service efforts within our congregation. I love the feeling that comes when you can help another person.
