Hi I'm Madeline Fowers

My name is Madeline, I'm a college freshman, I love to laugh, I'm a dancer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Madeline, I am the third of five children and I love my family with all my heart. My siblings and I are very close in age which has created a strong bond among us; as a family we always have the best time together whether it is at sporting events, game nights, dinners, etc. I love smiling, laughing, and having a good time-life is to be enjoyed and finding joy everyday in little things is a simple task that has really changed my life. I love being active, and trying new things. I have always been willing to put myself outside of my comfort zone when trying something new, and I have found that when I do I find a new passion in life. I am a dancer and love the art with all my heart. Everyday I am trying to be a better person so one day I can return to my Father in Heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and have been Mormon my entire life. However, I have had trials and rough times in my life where I had to decide for myself, rather than relying on my parents, whether or not I was going to believe and practice the Mormon religion. Through these trials I turned to God and He helped me through them and never left my side. I have since developed a strong and valuable relationship with God, and I am proud to say that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Religion is a part of my everyday life. I am trying daily to become a better person and I couldn't do that without the Savior's help. In the morning when I wake I begin my day with a prayer that I can have the Holy Ghost with me throughout the day, so I can make good choices and be the person God would like me to be. I read the scriptures in the evening along with a prayer before I go to bed. Another way my religion is incorported into my life is on Monday nights 24 members in our ward get together and have an activity and a spirtual lesson. I am in charge of planning and executing these activities, this is a great way to get friends together on a weekly basis and feel the spirit along with having a fun time.
