Hi I'm Dr. Wells

I'm a family doctor, a husband and father of six, and a mormon bishop!

About Me

I grew up in California as one of 8 kids. I'm married the love of my life and we have six active children. We now live in Washington state and I have recently been privileged to serve as the bishop of my congregation. As a family doctor I do a little over everything. Between delivering babies and caring for their grandparents as a doctor, serving my congregation as a bishop, and trying to be a supportive husband and father I am learning to balance and prioritize what is truly important in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I pray often and have a personal relationship with God. Through this and the Holy Spirit I have come to know the truth of the scriptures and the teachings of the Savior, Jesus Christ. I try hard to help my children to understand this and develop their own relationship with Him. This is the foundation of our family and brings us great strength. I am a Mormon because I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and believe in it's mission to bring souls unto Christ!

How I live my faith

To me being a disciple of Christ means doing our best to follow his example and putting God's will before my own. I have faith that as long as I do that, I can accomplish what He put me here on earth to do. I have faith that there is in fact time to do what is most important. If we put Christ first in our lives things generally fall into place. As a bishop I get to serve as a spiritual guide to members of my ward. He has given me a great love for those I serve and I believe this helps me to help them. It is amazing how similar the process is to work on your spiritual health compared with working on your physical health. I have learned that it is the little things that count! Truly it is a great thing to serve my Savior, Jesus Christ.
