Hi I'm Mindy

I grew up in Arizona. I like blogging and bright colors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a pretty active, goal-oriented person. I'm always working on fun projects like blogs, sewing projects, volunteering in the community, Zumba, and all that jazz. My family and I have traveled extensively across the US and have loved the opportunity to learn about and gain an appreciation for our country. I graduated college with a degree in elementary education and have enjoyed working with kids. I'm a huge Harry Potter and Hunger Games fan, and my favorite TV show is Psych. If I was a super hero, I'd call my self Mighty Min. I love my husband and I love being a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I don't know where I'd be without the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is the true church of Jesus Christ upon the earth today. I know that the same priesthood that Jesus gave his ancient Apostles is on the earth today and that God's chose prophet is Thomas S. Monson. How do I know? I've prayed and asked God. And he answered me. I am so grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and that He loved me enough to atone for my sins and die on the cross for me and for you. I find great comfort in knowing that the Savior went through the exact same sorrows that I go through in my life. He knows how to perfectly succor and comfort us because he knows exactly what it's like to be each of us in our unique circumstances. I am glad to know this and I have found such comfort in this that I want to share this with anyone who will listen!

How I live my faith

Faith is an action. I show my faith when I go to church every week, study the scriptures daily and pray as often as I can! I have been in many callings that have given me the chance to give service and share my faith with others. I have worked in the primary for a while, helping kids of all ages learn about the Savior Jesus Christ and gain their own testimonies of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have 2 siblings on missions in Central America and I support them as best I can.

What do Mormons believe about family?

The family is central to God's plan for his children here on earth. It is through families that we can learn to love as God loves and become all the Lord knows we can be. I love my family! Show more Show less
