Hi I'm Jace Fugate

I'm a musician, a ginger, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love life. It's not always a walk in the park, but it's always worth it. I've played guitar for about 8 years, drums for about 2, piano for 4, and I've always loved to sing. Music is one of the best things in the world. I'm also a big sports lover...except basketball. I am horrible at basketball. I skated for about 6 years. I got really big into aggressive inlining, but don't worry....most people dont know what it is either. I started doing wrestling and soccer in high school. It took time away from skating so i ended up pretty much giving skating up in 11th grade. I also played a little bit of tennis but i was never really all that good. My senior year in school i decided to getting into show chior. Thats what finally got me to decide to take music more seriously. I was going into college as a Music/Vocal major but i decided against it last minute and got a job at a studio instead. A year later I left on my mission to the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission. Going on my mission has been the best choice I've made thus far. Nothing is more important than my savior and this gospel. I am now living here in St. George, UT trying to do my best to start my life, get a job and get into school

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and i decided to stay. I didn't stay just because I was born into it though. I read, went to church, but most importantly i prayed about it. I found out for myself if it was the truth, and it is. I grew up in the church. I always thought i had a pretty testimony of the gospel, or belief that the church was true. I never really questioned anything. It always just felt right and made sense. I never had any un-answered questions. The gospel is complete in every way. When i turned 19 I had the choice to leave on my mission. Thats when I started to question stuff. I wanted to make sure that I 100% believe in what I would be teaching for the next 2 years. I really started praying. I truly started searched for the answer. I've always felt like this was the right path but I never before really questioned it untill then. I've sense had so many experiences and i know Jesus is the Christ. Joseph Smith was his prophet and revelator who restored this church and gospel. Thomas S. Monson is the prophet on the earth today. I love it, and i'm a Mormon

How I live my faith

I don't live my faith, i love it:) I've always tried to do the right thing. I've always tried to do good to others. I love others because know that our Father in Heaven loves everyone on this earth. Not everyone is going to always make the best choices but they still deserve love. People will not change unless they want to. So it's our responsibility to give them that reason to change. I live my faith by mourning with those who mourn, helping those who are in need of help, but just as importantly rejocing with those who rejoce. Adam fell that men are, men are that they might have joy. I live my faith by doing my best to keep joy in my life and in those around me.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Jace Fugate
What is the Holy Bible? Its a record of Gods dealing with those prophets who live in and around Jerusalem and the middle east. The Old Testament starting at the Creation and the Garden of Eden, and the New Testament with Christ's earthly ministry recorded along with much of what happen after for a period of time. The Book of Mormon is a record of Gods dealing with the inhabitants of the American continents. It both prophesies and testifies that Christ is our Savoir and Redeemer. "(7)Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea...(12)For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it...and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it." - 2 Nephi 29 "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd" - John 10:16 The Book of Mormon is physical evidence that we can read and pray about to find out for ourselves if Joseph Smith was a prophet and that we have a prophet on the earth today. Our religion weighs on this book. If it is not true then the church is not true. But if it is true than The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's church on the earth today. Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Jace Fugate
Nope. He was an awesome guy and God had him do some awesome stuff. We honor him and his strength and his love for the lord but we do NOT worship him. Show more Show less
