Hi I'm Jamie

I am a nurse and a full-time mother to twin boys. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I met my husband in college while I was studying nursing. I am lucky to say I truly married my best friend. I worked as a nurse for 4 years at a busy hospital. Now, my two favorite patients are my fearless twin boys. They constantly keep us laughing! My greatest blessing in this life is my family. We love spending time together. My husband and I enjoy playing soccer in the community league, playing tennis, and going on new adventures with our boys.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in the church, I still had to come to my own knowledge of the truthfulness of this gospel. Through study and prayer, I have been able to receive my own confirmation that this is what I should be doing. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings me more joy than I can describe! That is why I continue to follow His gospel and teachings. Even though life doesn't always go as planned and we all have trials, I never doubt what I know to be true. It pulls me through the hard times! I love knowing that even when I falter and make mistakes Jesus Christ has made it possible for me to repent and get my life back on track. I mentioned before that my family is central in my life. I can't imagine going through this life without the joy of knowing I will be able to be with them forever. I am grateful that Joseph Smith restored The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints here upon the earth and that I am able to partake of the blessings of it. I know that we have a current prophet of God here on the earth and that he is at the head of this church. I know that the Book of Mormon is a sacred and true book. The more I study it the more I realize that. I love being a member of this church and I love the gospel of Jesus Christ- that is why I am a mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. It is a lifestyle that I love. I go to church each Sunday and do my best to follow the teachings of my Savior and our prophets each day. During the week I prepare a lesson to teach to our youth on Sundays. I don't always know all the answers, but I like being able to share my testimony of the gospel with them. I do my best to pray and read my scriptures each day. I am constantly trying to live a more Christ like life.
