Hi I'm Nina Gerald

I am a NICU nurse and I homeschool our children. I coupon and budget to help our family. I’m a Mormon

About Me

I am a wife, mother, and granna. I live in the 'Sunshine' state and love being able to enjoy the sun and the water! I have been a NICU nurse for 20 years. I loved working with those precious littles ones straight from Father. I'm not working any more and miss it sometimes. I have homeschooled all of our children, feeling that was the best choice for us. It has been a blessing and a joy. I have babysat my grandchildren so my children could graduate college which they accomplished this year. I coupon and budget so that in this economy we can afford groceries and household items. Our home needs repairs and we work every month to pay our bills and keep our home just like the rest of world. In the last 2 years we have had both married children return to live with us at different times for 6 month periods. But I know Families can be forever and together we can get through all the things earth life challenges us with.

Why I am a Mormon

I walk with ‘Faith in Every Footstep’ knowing that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father and He loves me and I love Him. I came to earth with a purpose and there is a plan. And even though times may be hard, I know we live in a great era, a time when the world has more to offer than ever before. I know Christ lives. I know He is my Savior. He atoned for my sins so that I can have a way back to my Father in Heaven if I will strive to do my best and use the gift of repentance. He guides us through a living a Prophet on the earth today. Living the counsel found in the scriptures and given from our Prophets, past and present, will see us to the end. I am grateful to be living my life and I am not scared of the world. Christ will come. The peace this knowledge brings me is a great comfort in this world.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to be able to work in many areas of the church. I have served the children, the women, and the youth. Most of my adult life has been organizing and serving the young women, ages 12-18. I enjoy the opportunity to teach them morals and standards, the teachings of Jesus Christ, and how to serve others. We have lessons, service projects, and cultural events. They get the chance to grow and learn spiritually as well as socially. At the present time, I oversee and organize 7 congregations of young women ages 12-18. I help their leaders, as well as plan large functions that gather them together. Giving them opportunities to socialize with each other, serve together, share their beliefs, and help one another.
