Hi I'm Kelsey

I'm a university student from Salt Lake City, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University. I am currently living in Washington, D.C. and doing an internship. I love music. I have played the violin since I was 4 years old, and although I haven't continued with it in university, I will always love to play the violin and other musical instruments. I also love to listen to music: I find the world of music to be intriguing and lots of fun. I love to be around people. Getting to know people is one of my favorite things. I think the differences and similarities between people are fascinating, and I enjoy acquainting myself with a variety of different types of people. I like learning about people's backgrounds, interests, etc. I love that every person has a unique story and unique experiences, and I just wish I could hear everyone's story! I also love learning. I find it so valuable to increase my knowledge! Learning is something I plan on doing for the rest of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the LDS church, I have learned for myself over the years that this is the true church. The Holy Ghost has confirmed to me that being a member of the LDS church is the right thing to do, and who am I to deny that confirmation? I know it is true, so there is no way I would choose anything else. I know it is right, and nothing will deter me from following this path.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. I try very hard to find opportunities to serve the people around me. I gladly accept assignments within the Church and I make an effort to make everyone around me feel special. I think that it's almost as important to act on your faith as it is to have that faith in the first place, so I try to do things every day to truly live what I believe.
