Hi I'm Vince

I'm a husband, father, teacher, musician and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and my wife is beautiful! I have three wonderful children who I love very much. I like playing the guitar and writing music when I have the time, hmm. Love the outdoors, camping, hiking, I have hiked the Tahoe-Yosemite Trail, and I like cross country skiing. I was a missionary in Ecuador South America for two years. I like to spend time with my family, we like to travel to the coast, the mountains, etc..

Why I am a Mormon

My parents divorced when I was 11 years old and I felt something very important was lost in my life. My mom took us to a church when we were very young however my dad was not interested in going at the time. I remember feeling good about learning about Jesus as a child. When I was a young adult about 20 years old I wanted to find a way to raise my family that would help us to be united and I knew it needed to be in a religion. I went to several churches however I never felt that they were the right ones for me. I went to a Catholic high school as a boy and I attended meetings at college of religious groups. I met the missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and they taught me about the church. For six months I learned things that I felt were true. They asked me if I wanted to be baptized, everything I was taught I believed and I felt as though I was coming home returning to the way my Father in Heaven wanted me to live. After my baptism I received the Gift of the Holy Ghost and I felt a forgiveness of my sins and clean. It was a good feeling. I know that God lives, before joining the church I was unclear, now I know that He lives.

How I live my faith

I am a Sunday school teacher for the 14 year olds in my church. I like to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others when someone is interested in knowing about the church. We read the scriptures at our home and have daily prayer, it helps our family to be closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
