Hi I'm Michelle Scott

I grew up in Henderson Nevada. I got my degree in Math Education. I'm the mother of five beautiful redheaded children.

About Me

I am a mother. I love power tools. I love digital scrapbooking. I love gardening.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have prayed and gained a testimony for myself of the truthfulness of the doctrine taught. I have had prayers answered in my life, over and over again. I have felt the Lord's love for me throughout my life. I have felt the Lord's strength and guidance in my struggles. When I read the Book of Mormon, the spirit testifies of the truth of its content. When I follow the commandments, I feel at peace. I know that this life is a time to prepare myself to live with God again. I know that I will be able to be married to my husband for eternity, and be with my family in heaven. I am thankful that through the atonement of Jesus Christ, I can be forgiven when I make mistakes. Life would be much more challenging without this knowledge. I know that my Savior will never leave me alone, and will always be by my side.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth in the church, ages 12-18. I teach the young women on Sundays, and help plan uplifting and fun activities for them on Wednesdays. This is a great time for the girls to get together with other friends who have their same belief system, and to build lasting friendships. I also get to go to a one week summer camp in the summer with the young women. This is one of my favorite things to do. My husband and I have family scripture study and prayer in the mornings with our kids before we send them off to school.
