Hi I'm Kendra
I'm a traveler, a photographer, a teacher, and I'm proud to say that I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I'm a Southern Virginia University graduate who has a desire to travel the world and help people in any way I can. I recently spent a year teaching English in Taiwan to the most adorable children. I enjoy photography, cooking, reading, being outside, learning, and teaching/playing with children. My favourite thing to do right now is to preach the gospel!
Why I am a Mormon
I was born into a Mormon family, but that is not the only reason why I am a Mormon. I grew up in the church and throughout the years I have come to know more and more of the truthfulness of this restored gospel. I have realized that Heavenly Father has a plan for everyone and He will lead us to where we need to be, and if times get tough I know I am not alone. I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and will help me in any way I need help. When I pray I will receive answers to my prayers, even though it may not be as soon as I want the answers. I have read the Book of Mormon and come to know of its truthfulness. The Holy Ghost has testified of its truthfulness to me. I am a Mormon because I know that this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is true.
How I live my faith
I live my faith every day. I strive to live the values set forth by my church so that I can be a better person and continue to learn and grow. An emphasis in my church is service. Serving others is a great way to grow closer to Christ and I have found that I find much enjoyment as I put forth an effort to help another.
