Hi I'm Maren

I grew up in a family of 12. My goal in life is to raise an eternal family. I love sports, music, and life. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite things to do in life almost always involves my family. Besides the gospel and my testimony, they are most everything to me. I love playing sports, especially soccer. Usually that is with my family as well. I enjoy playing and listening to guitar and am caught singing around the house, town, and with my friends. I played the bass in High school and have played piano forever. I also LOVE playing guitar. Children are a joy to me; and one of my strongest desires is to raise righteous children of my own, especially raising little missionaries. My goal is to work towards an eternal family. I am now old enough, and I am out in the field serving the Lord. I am so grateful and feel so blessed to have this opportunity to serve!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints because I know it is true! It contains the fulness of the gospel. Joseph Smith restored the church Christ organized in His time. I know this because the Holy Spirit has confirmed this to me. Everytime I study the scriptures or attend church or feel the spirit strongly, my testimony of that is strengthened.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel and everything it encompasses! I have enjoyed serving as assistant ward organist and various callings in the Relief Society and the Young Women. In a Singles ward I was able to teach Sunday School and I loved that! Daily scripture reading and consistent prayer are part of my everyday. I love teaching and testifying about the gospel. I left my family, my home, school, and my former life, experiencing some of the most difficult things I ever have, and living in a different culture on the opposite side of the world, yet I consider it the greatest blessing of my life. I am doing this all, so that I can bring my brothers and sisters to our Father.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Maren
Families are one of my greatest blessings in this life. They have made me all I am. They provide me with company, love, and strength to do what I know is right. What would eternity be life without my best friends? Children are one of the greates sources of joy in this life. I have never been a parent but right now I have fourty-one nieces and nephews and hear it from my siblings and parents often. If a parent has the right vision they will feel the same way.
