Hi I'm Celeste

I love life, the sunshine makes me happy, I am a missionary in the Jackson Mississippi Mission and I'm Mormon.

About Me

Currently I am serving an LDS mission in Jackson Mississippi. At home I am a student at Utah State University majoring in Elementary Education. I am the oldest of two younger sisters and oh do we have fun together. I love music, I play the piano all the time. I also love to be active. Give me a pretty day in the sun, some music, and a good friend and I am set. I love this life and all that comes with it yes, even the hard times. I know that sometimes our trials can bring us the biggest blessings. I know that Heavenly Father truly does have a plan for all of us. I know he cares and has walked and talked with all personally. He knows my heart and everything that I desire. I also know that Jesus Christ lives--this is his gospel and his church. I love my family, someday I will be able to have a family and teach my children the truths I know in my heart to them. I know families can be together forever and that is what Jesus Christ centers his gospel around. My passion is this gospel it is beautiful, wonderful, and brings more joy to the soul then anything else.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because there is no greater blessing then feeling the peace and joy that this church brings. I know that I am an imperfect person in fact I make mistakes daily, but it is through Jesus Christ that I can be cleansed and forgiven of my sins. I feel his love more and more everyday. Learning to humbly submitt to the will of my Heavenly Father is something that is hard to do. But as I submit to his will and follow the Savior's example I am able to see myself grow. I know that my life has purpose to it, theres such a bigger world, such a better sense of securtiy, and my views of the future are bright because of my Savior Jesus Christ. He loves us so much, he was truly the perfect example. I also know that we have a current prophet today and listening and obeying his words brings our hearts peace. I know obedience to his commandments protects and makes me free. I know who I am, where I am going, and why I am here. My life has so much more meaning to it because of this church. I am Mormon because I have a greater sense of faith and hope as I continue on the pathway of life. I know that I am truly his daughter, he does have a plan for me, he knows me better then anyone ever could. I KNOW that eternal happieness is possible. I love Jesus Christ, I love Heavenly Father, the smile on my face couldn't be bigger when I testify of them. I know he lives and I love being Mormon.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a full time mission in Jackson, Mississippi. I left in Janruary 2013 and I will return home in July 2014. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to share what I know to be true with my brothers and sisters here. I know that I am a child of God. We are truly all Heavenly Fathers children and he loves all of us dearly. He wants more then anything to have us return home in Heaven to live with him again. As I search the scriptures deeply every morning I am coming to realize more and more who my Savior Jesus Christ is. Prayfully asking questions, pondering, listening, and serving brings my life so much peace and joy. I am so thankful for the knowledge I have. The Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Jesus Christ's Church brought back or "restored" to the earth once more. It was restored through a Prophet (Joseph Smith) and the keys of the priesthood (the power and authority to act in Gods name) is on earth today. I want to live with him again. I want to love people as he loved them. This is truly a time to prepare to meet god. This knowledge I am thankful for and that is how I live my faith.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Celeste
We can increase our faith by living the gospel to the fullest. If you want to know if this gospel is true read about it, pray about it, study it, and think it out in your heart. The lord will give you the answer. Once you know your answer live it and never ever doubt it. Your faith will only grow by obedience and a desire to be the best we can be. Show more Show less
