Hi I'm Gabby

"I grew up in Mexico City. I am a Head Start teacher. I am a Mormon"

About Me

I am an United States immigrant who came from Mexico 14 years ago. I married shortly after to a wonderful men, he is a very kind and loving husband to me. We have not been able to have children of our own but teaching children help me feel like I can be a mother to many. I teach pre-kindergarten in a low income government education program. I am currently going to college to finish my degree in Teaching. I love spending time with my family and more in particular with my lovely husband. I like learning all about American History.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there is not other church that has so much to offer for my spiritual, physical, and mental well being. The Church has been restored by God and His Son Jesus Christ to serve everyone, whether you are a member or not . My Church teaches me that Heavenly Father cares about me and knows me very well; that I have an elder Brother named Jesus Christ that came to this world to die for my sins and the sins of all the people that has ever come to earth. In my religion, I have the freedom to choose, knowing that for every choice there will be a consequence, and it gives me all the tools that I need to make sure I always choose to do the right thing. I am a Mormon because my Church actively helps the needs of people around the world when they are in natural or other kind of disasters. I am a Mormon because here I learn to be self reliant and a productive member of society. I am a Mormon because they teach me that I need to be civil, peaceful and a helpful citizen. I know without a doubt that God lives and so His Son Jesus Christ, that they love us and expect us to go back to Them someday; that they have given us the scriptures, principles like prayer, fast and many many other to bring us closer to them, to be guided by this and the Holy Ghost as we keep ourselves clean.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in my church as a youth leader for a group of more than 200 young women that are between ages 12 and 18.
