Hi I'm Lisa Grimm

I am a mother to four beautiful children. I am married to the love of my life. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am a stay a home mom to four little ones and I love it! I always wanted to be a mother. When I was young I loved babies and always wanted to babysit. I went to college for two years in Southern Utah. I was there doing cheerleading. I love to dance and be active. I met my sweetheart there and we have been married for 11 years. Some things I enjoy doing are exercising, scrap-booking, water skiing, snow skiing, spending time with my family, watching movies and being outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church and I feel so blessed to have been raised being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As I got older and read the Book of Mormon my testimony was strengthened. I was able to read the book and pray about the truth of the book. I felt in my heart by power of the Holy Ghost that it was true. I have had so many experiences in my life when I felt again and again that this is the true church. Once when I was a teenager we were doing a play at girls camp. We were doing a part that was replicating Moses' time when the people were being bit by snakes and to be healed they had to look at the serpent( we didn't actually get bit my snakes:). And when we were doing this I felt so strongly that it had happened. That the story was true. It was an experience that really strengthened my testimony. I believe that we have modern day experiences that are similar. That we have been given a prophet to lead and guide our church. That when we live the simple gospel principles that we have been given that it brings us happiness and peace. I know because I have felt it in my life. I also feel so blessed to have temples. They are the place that I can feel closest to my Heavenly Father and find answers to prayers and peace. I know that all of these blessings come from a loving Heavenly Father and I am thankful for my testimony of our church and the happiness it has brought into my life.

How I live my faith

In my church I work with the young women. Those are teenage girls ages 12-18. We meet each week on Sundays and have a lesson about different gospel subjects. Then each week we meet to have an activity together. We do lots of fun things that the girls plan. It can be lots of different things, swimming, learning something new, service for others and lots more. It has been a new assignment for me so I am learning a lot and really enjoying it. I think the youth of our church are amazing and I feel so lucky to spend time with them.
