Hi I'm Tyler Mitchell

I'm a family man, guitarist, pianist, and a football and track athlete. I grew up in Idaho and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hey my name is Tyler. I am currently serving a mission in Virginia for two years of my life. Its a huge change and responsibility but i know its the right choice. I have graduated from high school and done a year in college. During high school i played football and track. In track i ran the 400m, 100m, and 200m. Some people say running is horrible but i think its actually fun if doing it with friends. I also enjoy playing piano and guitar even though it is kind of hard to teach yourself an instrument but im getting the hang of it. My family has seven kids and im right in the middle so i get to be picked on by my older brother and get annoyed by my little sister :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i have prayed to my father in heaven and he has made it known unto me by the feelings that enter my heart. If I ever have a question about something taught I can ask the Lord and get that reassurance that it is from him. I am a Mormon because this is Christ's church not one of man. He is the one leading the church. His church allows us to have eternal progression and always be learning and growing. The standards taught help keep me from danger and allow me to have good influences around me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by walking each step in my life with my head held high and eyes looking toward the future. The teachings of the gospel allow me to not be held back by pain from worldy incidents or spiritual sins i have made in my life. I strive to read my scripures daily to recieve the incite it gives me. By praying to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ it helps me have that strength to move forward and see how everything that happens occurs for a reason. I also live my faith by being an example to the ones around me. People really do notice when you walk at a higher level and follow your standards. Always be that person you want to be instead of you someone wants you to be. This is when you will see true happiness in your life.
