Hi I'm Colton

I love sports, having a good time and relaxing. I'm a missionary in Long Beach, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hey-- I'm Colton. I grew up mostly near Cincinnati but moved to Utah just before high school started. Currently I am serving a mission in Long Beach, California. It's a great way to bring joy to others' lives and prepare myself to be the best me I can be in the future. I love music, ice cream and just about any sports.. I've always hated about me sections.. If you think this one is bad, you should see my eHarmony profile.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the Book of Mormon is a true witness of Jesus Christ. It was translated by a modern day prophet named Joseph Smith and is a record kept by prophtets living in ancient America. These prophets lived at the same time as the prophets in the Bible. Although I have been a member of this church all of my life, I still went through a conversion process as I kept doing the things that would keep me on the path that the Savior opened up for us. I know Christ has suffered and died for all of us, and I am extremely grateful. The Atonement allows us to return and live with our Heavenly Father again. We lived there before we came to Earth. I love being a member and a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm a Mormon and it is great!

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by striving to become more like Jesus. I study from the Bible and Book of Mormon every day in order to realign myself with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I realize I will never be perfect but I can always do my best. Right now I am a missionary in Long Beach, California where I am testifying to others of the truth of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and inviting them to learn more. I spend all of my time teaching and serving others. It is a lot of hard work but a lot of fun. Before I left my home in Utah to come here I taught youth classes about the Book of Mormon and the teachings of this church.
