Hi I'm Russ

I was born and raised in St.Goerge, Utah. I like to scuba dive,Paintball, and Hunt. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old and am currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am serving in the PITTSBURGH Pennsylvania mission. I am the second oldest of five siblings. I have one older sister and the rest are brothers. I absolutely love to be in the outdoors, whether in the heat or the cold it really doesn't matter. I love to hunt big and small game animals, my dad taught me from a young age and I have loved it ever since. I like to scuba dive, Rock Climb, Paintball, and just hang out on the beach. To stay in shape I really like to run, running marathon's is a goal I always have in mind. I love to work hard, and beat the odds. Its always my goal to get better and better. One day you will be the best.

Why I am a Mormon

I have not always been converted to the gospel. My life has been full of Highs and lows of activity in the church. Even though I was raised a member of this church, my conversion came, only because I was willing to trust in the lord. I was willing to go and do. A conversion comes as you learn and experience, as you believe and live. Their have been many experiences and many loved ones in my life who have truly influenced me for the better. The True reason why i'm a latter day saint, is because it is the only church on the face of the whole earth that teaches all of Christ teachings to their fullest. Jesus Christ lives and is the head of this church. He has called and ordained modern day prophets. Of all times in history the lord would not abandon us in this final hour, more than ever his work is pressing forward. He is the same yesterday, today , and forever. I know for I love and live this Gospel.

How I live my faith

For the past two years I have been falling a little short of my marathon goal, but it is all worth it. I have the opportunity to live the gospel of Jesus Christ to its fullest, and to fulfill the great commission of Jesus Christ. Which is to take the Gospel to the world. Each day I wake up and spend about 2 hours studying the scriptures. Then for the rest of my day I spend bearing my testimony to the people of Pennsylvania. I do know that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to this earth, and that through that restoration is the only way of finding true peace. After this two years of service, I plan to go to school, begin my career, and start a family that will last for all time and eternity. All the while Jesus Christ and his teachings will be central to my life.
