Hi I'm Elder Johnson

I am a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a small town of about 500 people, I love the experiences that I was able to have and the amazing things that I was able to learn growing up in a small tight knit community. I do typical small town things, I love being outdoors, hiking, hunting, fishing, whatever I can do to be outside, sports, and I really can honestly say that I love being a member of this church.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? What it ultimately came down to for me was reading and praying about the Book of Mormon, which is the "keystone of our religion". I knew that if there was a God and He truly does love me that He would answer my prayers. I had a friend tell me that praying about the Book of Mormon is praying to know if there is a God. Because The Book of Mormon testifies of God and of His Son Jesus Christ, the Bible, modern day prophets, and all other aspects of who God is and our purpose in this life it was the evidence that I needed to really know God. I took that challenge and prayed specifically to know if the Book of Mormon was true. The answer that I received was undoubtedly from God and was evidence for me that all that I wanted to know was true.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving an LDS mission sharing what I know to be true.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Elder Johnson
I know that it was through the Holy Ghost that I came to know that this church is true. If you ask God through prayer he will answer you by way of the Holy Ghost confirming what you asked is true. When I feel the Holy Ghost it is a calm peacful feeling in my heat it is something I never want to lose or forget. Show more Show less
